Pet Dog Pawtal

I have been a crazy dog person my entire life. I grew up dreaming of becoming a vet, but realised quickly that I wasn't cut out for the gore! Instead, I have pursued my passion for animal welfare. With a BSc in Animal Behaviour, as well as plenty of experience working with a variety of dogs from 8 week old puppies through to seniors, I have a wealth of experience in many aspects of dog training and behaviour modification. I particularly enjoy working with dogs showing 'reactive' behaviour as I believe there is nothing more fulfilling than watching a dog's life turned around. I have a Working Golden Retriever who I train in Obedience, Tricks and Gundog work. We have also recently added a dual purpose German Shepherd puppy to the family who I am aiming to work in Scentwork, Mantrailing and Protection. I'm a firm believer in science-based training and exemplify this whilst working with my own dogs.

Lauren lives in sunny Portsmouth with two adorable little pooches: Lola the Cockapoo and Buddy the Cairn Terrier. She runs her own puppy school and dog walking business but has also tasked herself with keeping me in some semblance of control! I owe most of my sanity to Lauren for her fantastic organisational skills and kind words.
